Anime: hard to find unless you can navigate youtube or have money to burn on ebay or amazon.

I feel this show was written well and captured the spirit of the Novel, the Manga, and the Anime series. Each Adaptation is well worth your time.

I love Fantasy and this is a great Fantasy to get involved in. Complex and rich in characters and plot.

I think the tv series re-envisioned the novel series well.

And in my opinion, made certain things in the book and manga a little more clear, and understandable, and in some cases, giving better motives to certain individuals then what I was able to parse in the translation of the novels and manga.

- just my 2 cents worth. ;D
